Arsenal reject £10million bid by West Brom for England left-back Kieran Gibbs
Wenger appears prepared to sell the 27-year-old but is holding out for more
ARSENAL have rejected a £10million bid by West Brom for left-back Kieran Gibbs, according to reports.
Gibbs, 27, is West Brom's top target but Arsenal are said to be holding out for £15million.
Albion are currently leading the race for the Englishman, but Watford and Newcastle have also voiced their interest.
Gibbs spent the majority of last term spectating from the sidelines - only managing a total of eight games for the Gunners.
Following the arrival of Sead Kolasinac at the Emirates, the 27-year-old has fallen even further down the defensive pecking order.
However, Arsene Wenger is keen to offload the defender in a bid to redeem funds following his club-record transfer for Alexandre Lacazette.
Chris Brunt, Allan Nyom, James McClean and Jonny Evans all took their turn at left-back for The Baggies last term, but Pulis is hunting for a permanent replacement.
Gibbs began his career with Arsenal in 2007, after joining from the Wimbledon academy in 2004.
Arsenal transfer news
Gibbs was not included in Arsene Wenger's pre-season squad for the tour of Australia and China.
The 27-year-old has 10 caps for England under his belt, but he is struggling to prove his potential on the national stage due to a lack of game time at the Emirates.
The West Mildands side are currently in Hong Kong for the Asia Trophy.
The Baggies have already signed Jay Rodriguez from Southampton and Zhang Yuning from Vitesse - but the youngster has already been sent out on loan to Werder Bremen.
