JOE HART watched on as new side West Ham beat London rivals Fulham in Austria.
First-half strikes from Manuel Lanzini and Ashley Fletcher were enough to hand Slaven Bilic’s side their first win the season, following a 0-0 draw with Sturm Graz on Monday.
Bilic selected a different side in each half against the Cottagers but there was no place for Hart, who joined on loan from Manchester City this week.
The England keeper instead kept tabs from the sidelines and did not have to wait long to see his new team fire.
On the day that the Hammers agreed a deal for Mexican striker Javier Hernandez, it was another Latin American who bagged the Premier League side’s opener.
Fletcher teed Lanzini up on the edge of the box from a swift counter attack and the Argentine coolly netted past David Button.
And West Ham were then gifted a second to just before the break when Button blundered in his own box.
The stopper tried to dribble past Fletcher but was tackled, allowing the young striker to tap into an empty net.

Fulham pulled one back after the break when the lively Cauley Woodrow poked in Ryan Sessegnon’s effort.
But they could not find a second to steal a draw as West Ham continued their unbeaten start to pre-season.
Next up for Bilic's boys is a meeting with Werder Bremen in Germany on July 28.
