MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea have reportedly joined Tottenham in the hunt for Everton star Ross Barkley.
The midfielder has just a year left on his Goodison contract and looks set to leave after refusing to pen an extension.
Ronald Koeman has so far refused to budge from his £50million valuation of the player.
But Barkley could now be set to move on after United and Chelsea threw their hats in the ring.
The claims Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte are both big fans of the England international.
Barkley’s versatility and power also makes him suited to their respective systems.
But further reports suggest he is looking to pocket wages worth £150,000-a-week, a demand which is said to have made Tottenham recoil in horror.
Nevertheless, Everton may need to cash in sooner rather than later after already buying two other No.10s.
Manchester United transfer news
Davy Klaassen has been snapped up from Ajax and enjoyed plenty of success in the Dutch capital playing off the striker.
Wayne Rooney has also returned to Everton from Manchester United and has spent many seasons playing in the hole.
There could yet be further competition for the main spot as well, with Swansea ace Gylfi Sigurdsson a £50m target.
