ALEXIS SANCHEZ'S future is up in the air, and so was the Chilean as he jetted off with his family for the final few days of his holiday.
The Arsenal striker has been granted extended leave by the London club after his exertions in the Confederations Cup.
And rather than sit at home mulling his next career move, Sanchez seemed in high spirits as he flew out on a private jet with his family.
The 28-year-old shared photos of the trip on his Instagram page showing off a huge smile with his nearest and dearest.
Much has been made of how Sanchez craves Champions League football, and with Arsenal not in the elite competition next season, many expect him to leave.
But SunSport reported yesterday how Gunners boss Arsene Wenger remains defiant that Sanchez will be staying at the Emirates.
The Chilean also has just one-year left on his current contract but has been offered a whopping £275,000-a-week deal to commit his future to the club.
As he continues to delay putting pen to paper, Sanchez’s latest quotes on his future has given his clearest indication yet that he is ready to leave.
But boss Wenger is adamant he will remain an Arsenal player by claiming a “decision has been made.”
Reported by Sky Sports, he said: “The decision has been made and we will stick to that.
“The decision is not to sell.
"Every case is different, Van Persie was going from 30 to 31, when he left he had one year on his contract - Sanchez is younger."
