Arsenal tell Jack Wilshere to leave as contract talks with Arsene Wenger break down and Italian outfit Sampdoria lurk
England midfielder spent last season on loan at Bournemouth but has not been able to force his way into Wenger's plans
JACK WILSHERE has reportedly been told he can leave Arsenal this summer.
The claims Arsene Wenger has decided against offering the Englishman a contract extension and has now told him to find a new club.
Wilshere was hoping to fight for a place in Arsenal’s first-team next season after spending the last campaign on loan at Bournemouth.
But Wenger is plotting a squad overhaul after already breaking the club’s transfer record for Alexandre Lacazette.
And he does not see a role for Wilshere as the Gunners look to mount a serious title challenge.
The midfielder is now said to be considering his options following interest from Serie A outfit Sampdoria.
However, they are refusing to offer more than £6million and Arsenal do not want to loan Wilshere for a second consecutive season.
Manchester City and West Ham have both expressed an interest in the past and may yet offer to save Wilshere’s Premier League career.

But The Sun can exclusively reveal that Crystal Palace are hovering after already landing Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea.
Frank de Boer was hoping to strike a loan deal for Wilshere, but that was dependent on the ace signing a new Gunners deal.
Meanwhile, Wenger hopes to continue his spending spree by splurging on Monaco star Thomas Lemar.
