Manchester City join Liverpool’s Naby Keita hunt with Inter Milan also keen despite RB Leipzig insisting they will not sell midfielder
Guinea international now wanted by three teams but will cost big bucks with Reds already seeing £57million bid rejected
LIVERPOOL have reportedly been joined by Manchester City and Inter Milan in the race for RB Leipzig star Naby Keita.
claims Jurgen Klopp faces stiff competition from the super-rich duo, who are both ready to offer Keita lucrative contracts.
Liverpool are desperate to sign the Guinea international this summer and have already failed with a £57million bid.
The Reds plan on going back in with a second offer, but Leipzig are adamant they will not sell.
However, Liverpool now face additional pressure from City and Inter, who are both awash with cash and trophy-hungry chiefs.
Etihad boss Pep Guardiola isn’t shy when it comes to making big-money signings, having already spent big on Bernardo Silva, Ederson and Kyle Walker.
He also plans on landing Benjamin Mendy and Alexis Sanchez, but now apparently has his sights firmly fixed on Keita as well.
Meanwhile, Inter are undergoing yet another squad revamp and have already replaced Ever Banega with Borja Valero.

But the San Siro giants would also like to add Keita to their ranks, although they will allegedly let him remain at Leipzig for one more season in order to turn the tables in their favour.
Whether Liverpool are now successful in their pursuit of Keita remains to be seen.
But his fellow countryman and ex-Reds striker Titi Camara claims the star wants to move to Merseyside, surely giving Klopp the upper hand.
