Jurgen Klopp appeared to be leading the chase for the Dutch centre-back but claim Juve are now in the hunt for the star.

The Serie A giants are desperate to recruit the ace from their rivals are will battle the Reds all the way for his services.

De Vrij impressed for Lazio last season as they finished fifth in the table.
