Leicester set to offload SIX of last summers signing including Islam Slimani and Ahmed Musa
After spending more than £60m on last summer's major signings, The Foxes now face the prospect of them all leaving
LEICESTER are set to part with six of their signings from last summer — including Ahmed Musa, Islam Slimani, Nampalys Mendy and Bartosz Kaputska.
Ron-Robert Zieler was also sold to Stuttgart earlier in the week after just a year with the 2016 Premier League champions.
The Foxes spent over £60m on these stars during last summer's transfer window, but they are expected to be sold to raise funds for other transfers.
Slimani was signed for a club-record of £28m on deadline day last term, but the 29-year-old only scored eight goals in 29 appearances for the club.
Musa joined following a £16m deal with Moscow, but he ended the campaign with just seven league starts and two goals.
Bordeaux voiced their interest in £13m midfielder Mendy and Kaputska is set join to join Bundesliga side Freiburg on loan.
The Foxes have already sold goalkeeper Zieler to Stuttgart for an undisclosed fee.
Luis Hernandez departed the club for Malaga in the New Year following his free transfer to the King Power in July.
The reigning champions parted ways with Claudio Ranieri in February, with Craig Shakespeare now in charge.
Roma have voiced their interest in Leicester's wantaway winger Riyad Mahrez.
The 26-year-old has confirmed his desire to leave the club following their uncomfortable 12th place finish last term.
Mahrez comes with a hefty £50m price tag, but this does not appear to have phased the Italian giants.
Shakespeare's side are currently pre-season training in southern Austria, with a handful of tricky fixtures in the pipeline.
