Tottenham warn Manchester United and Manchester City that Eric Dier and Kyle Walker won’t come easy this summer
Duo wanted by Manchester giants this summer but Spurs want £50m for Walker and won't even entertain bids for Dier
TOTTENHAM have reportedly told Manchester City and Manchester United they will not be bullied over Kyle Walker and Eric Dier.
The English duo have been key to Spurs’ success in recent seasons but are being targeted by the Manchester giants this summer.
Pep Guardiola is desperate to sign right-back Walker after allowing Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna to leave on free transfers.
City have also missed out on Dani Alves, who has signed a two-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain despite striking a verbal agreement with Guardiola after quitting Juventus.
Spurs are believed to be open to selling Walker after handing Kieran Trippier a new five-year contract.
But the claims they will only accept an offer worth £50million or more after seeing Michael Keane and Jordan Pickford move to Everton for £30m each.
Meanwhile, United boss Jose Mourinho has turned his attention to anchorman Dier after struggling to prise Nemanja Matic away from Chelsea.
However, the report adds that Spurs have absolutely no intention of selling the versatile ace and have already turned down a huge bid from the Red Devils.
Tottenham transfer news
Mauricio Pochettino is yet to make any signings this summer and wants to keep his squad as intact as possible.
But the report concludes he’s set to make a swoop for young Argentinian defender Juan Foyth.
The Estudiantes centre-back will cost around £9m but it remains to be seen whether he’ll get a chance to compete for a spot in the senior squad.
