DANI ALVES has snubbed Manchester City to sign for Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in France.
The Brazilian full-back looked certain to complete a move to the Etihad after seeing his contract at Juventus terminated.
However, claim he has agreed a deal to join PSG.
The news would come as a bitter blow to Pep Guardiola, who had counted on Alves for next season, having allowed both Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna to leave the club.
Chelsea had also been keen on the former Barcelona ace, but were behind City in the pecking order.
Alves, 34, joined Juventus on a free transfer in the summer, after trophy-laden seasons at the Nou Camp.
He added more honours to his burgeoning cabinet with a Serie A and Coppa Italia victory.
However, he failed to truly settle in Italy and left after agreeing to have his contract terminated.

Alves would be a major addition for either City or PSG, with his experience of winning Europe's biggest trophies.
Both sides are packed with quality, but lack the know-how to truly compete in the Champions League.
But bringing in a three-time winner and trophy magnet like Alves, could change the whole atmosphere around the club.
