DANIEL STURRIDGE'S future at Liverpool is in huge doubt and he has returned to pre-season training at Melwood with a point to prove.
The England international who only scored three Premier League goals last season rocked up to Melwood a long with his Reds team-mates in their super cars.
Sturridge, 27, has been linked with moves to Paris-Saint Germain and West Ham after last season's frustrating campaign which saw him start only seven league matches.
But Jurgen Klopp is reluctant to part ways with the striker, believing it will cost too much to replace him.
And after having coming from a summer break, Sturridge will be looking to repay his manager's faith and prove he is the man to lead the line.
Sturridge was joined by the man he needs to impress, Klopp, who arrived in an Opel.
A number of first-team players were in attendance at training with Nathaniel Clyne arriving in a Rolls Royce.
While inconsistent stars Loris Karius and Alberto Moreno were also spotted, with the former being chauffeured and the latter driving a BMW.
