MANCHESTER UNITED and Arsenal have been given a transfer boost after Paris Saint-Germain reportedly rejected a £13million bid from Juventus for Blaise Matuidi.
The France international’s future is unclear as he enters the final year of his lucrative contract.
Matuidi came close to a Parc des Princes exit last summer but was convinced to stay by new PSG boss Unai Emery.
However, the ace is now keen to leave and is yet to respond to the French club’s latest offer.
United and Arsenal are both keen on Matuidi, who would be perfectly suited to the Premier League as a box-to-box midfielder.
But claims Juventus have made the first move by launching a £13m offer for his signature.
However, PSG have no intention of selling for such a low price and want at least £26m.
But with Matuidi available for free in just a year’s time, the Ligue 1 giants may not be able to command such a high figure later in the transfer window.

PSG are also at risk of losing fellow midfielder Marco Verratti, who is wanted by Barcelona.
The Italian has already made it clear he intends to head to the Nou Camp after holding a secret meeting with Catalan chiefs.
But Verratti could command a fee of £100m, meaning PSG will have plenty to spend in their hunt for replacements.
