Liverpool’s hopes of signing RB Leipzig star Naby Keita boosted by comments from former Anfield favourite
Ex-Reds striker Titi Camara reveals he has been informed his fellow Guinean is desperate to join Jurgen Klopp's side
LIVERPOOL'S hopes of landing top summer target Naby Keita from RB Leipzig have been given a boost.
Former Reds striker Titi Camara says his fellow Guinean is keen on making the move to Anfield.
And he revealed that the star has told his current club so too.
Camara wrote on Twitter: "From what I’m led to believe Naby has his heart set on LFC move.
"Leipzig have been informed of his intent and are looking for replacement."
Leipzig - backed by the huge wealth of Red Bull - are believed to have placed a £70 million price tag on Keita.
Despite coming up with that fee, the Bundesliga outfit are in no rush to sell.
Liverpool were aware they faced a huge task to persuade the German club to part with their prized asset.

But Klopp does not want to wait that long and hopes to get him this summer.
Meanwhile, the Reds sold defender Andre Wisdom to Derby County on Monday.
The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year contract at Pride Park – which comes after his initial loan spell in the 2013-14 season.
Wisdom, who struggled to nail down a place in Liverpool’s first team, also had loan spells at West Brom, Norwich and Red Bull Salzburg while at Anfield.
