NABY KEITA has demanded showdown talks with RB Leipzig with Liverpool waiting to pounce.
And former Liverpool striker Titi Camara has revealed the midfielder has his "heart set" on Liverpool switch this summer.
Camara who coaches the Guinea national side claimed on social media Leipzig know he wants to move to the Premier League, and the Germans are already on the hunt for a replacement.
Camara said on Twitter: "From what I'm led to believe Naby has his heart set on #lfc move. Leipzig have been informed of his intent and are looking for replacement."
Klopp has already landed Mohamed Salah from Roma for £35million and will have to spend big again to have any chance of getting Keita this summer.
The 22-year-old will thrash out his future with Leipzig chiefs this week, and will hope the club grant his wish to move to England.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is desperate to add the all-action midfielder to his ranks ahead of a busy season including a return to the Champions League.
Leipzig have maintained their stance that their star man is not for sale despite a reported £70million price tag being quoted.
Latest Liverpool transfer news
The Guinea international has made a huge impact in his first season in Germany following his move from Red Bull Salzburg last summer.
The dynamic box-to-box midfielder scored eight goals with eight assists in 31 league appearances for Leipzig, who qualified for the Champions League after finishing second behind Bayern Munich.
Keita has a contract with Leipzig until 2020 with a £48million release clause that kicks in next summer.
Klopp wants to wrap up a deal immediately instead of waiting for the cheaper option next year with other potential suitors entering the race for his signature.
