Claudio Bravo will fight to be second-choice at Manchester City despite penalty heroics with Chile

CLAUDIO BRAVO has seen his Manchester City future thrown into fresh doubt — despite his incredible penalty heroics.
The Chilean keeper saved all three Portuguese spot-kicks in the Confederations Cup semi-final shootout win in Russia.
But Bravo, expected to be back-up to £34.9million Ederson at the Etihad next season, may end up with another rival for a spot on the bench.
Real Sociedad’s Geronimo Rulli, 25, who was briefly at City last year, was targeted for a return by boss Pep Guardiola.
The Argentine stopper’s father Omar claims Guardiola wanted him back in Manchester as understudy to Ederson.
But Omar said: “After they bought Ederson, Gero was clear with City. His goal is to be a starter.
“To be the FA Cup goalkeeper, their promise to him, was not enough.”
News of the approach will only add to Bravo’s concerns though.

The 34-year-old will play for Chile in Sunday’s Confederations Cup final against Germany.
He will then have a holiday, so is unlikely to make City’s pre-season USA tour.
