MANCHESTER UNITED have not given up in their pursuit of £30million Monaco midfielder Fabinho, according to reports.
The imminent signing of Nemanja Matic had made it appear that Jose Mourinho was no longer interested in signing the 23-year-old Brazilian.
But reports United actually consider Fabinho a priority signing.
Discussions between the two parties have merely slowed somewhat as Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race.
PSG sporting director Antero Henrique is said to have made contact with Fabinho's representatives over a possible contract.
The French giants are bracing themselves to lose midfield star Marco Verratti, 24, to Barcelona, with Fabinho a possible replacement.

But he DID admit he would seriously consider joining United should an offer be made.
He told last week: "It’s a tempting invitation. I would first talk to my agent, Monaco too, to decide everything right.
