Leicester want Kelechi Iheanacho as Craig Shakespeare readies £25million bid for Manchester City striker
Young forward has no future at the Etihad and is also being chased by Everton, West Ham and Crystal Palace
LEICESTER are reportedly looking to make a £25million bid for Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho.
The young forward is facing a bleak future under Pep Guardiola following the January arrival of Gabriel Jesus.
And with a move for Borussia Dortmund hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang said to be in the works, Iheanacho will be allowed to move on this summer.
The ace has already been linked with West Ham, Crystal Palace and Everton.
But the claims Leicester have now emerged as the frontrunners for his signature.
Craig Shakespeare has already spent big on Hull centre-back Harry Maguire, parting ways with a club-record £17m.
And following the arrival of Oxford’s Michael Appleton as his assistant, the new Foxes boss wants to continue to spending spree.
