Robert Lewandowski’s agent blasts Bayern Munich as they did not help him with Bundesliga top scorer award
Star's representative reveals disappointment after his client was pipped by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Golden Boot
ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI’S agent has blasted Bayern Munich for not doing more to help the star finish top scorer in the Bundesliga last season.
The Polish striker was pipped to the golden boot by Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The hotshot struck twice on the final day of the campaign against Werder Bremen to take his tally to 31.
That figure was one more than Lewandowski, who failed to hit the target in the 4-1 home victory over Freiburg.
And the 28-year-old was not impressed by Carlo Ancelotti’s side seemingly not supporting his personal aspirations, especially after they had already sealed the title.
Now his representative Maik Barthel has waded into the row and revealed how upset his client was.

He told : "Robert told me that he got no support and that the coach gave no call to help him in the last game to win the top-scorer title.
"He was disappointed as I have never seen him before.
"He really hoped that the team would support him proactively."
His comments follow Lewandowski’s outburst earlier this month.
The forward told : "It does not hurt any more, but it did at first.
"Maybe because I was not completely satisfied with the way my team helped me.
"Immediately after the last game, I felt anger.
"I was disappointed with my team. That was the feeling I had."
