Cristiano Ronaldo agent Jorge Mendes set for showdown talks with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez as Portugal superstar plots £175m escape to Manchester United
Ronaldo want to leave Los Blancos after the club distanced themselves from alleged £13m tax probe
CRISTIANO RONALDO'S agent is set for crisis talks with Real Madrid - who will demand at least £175million for the superstar.
Jorge Mendes is set to meet Los Blancos president Florentino Perez, as the club desperately seek a solution after it was revealed that Ronaldo wants to leave.
Ballon d'or winner Ronaldo is accused of defrauding Spanish authorities of £13m in tax.
And sources close to the player claim that he wants to leave Spain and is "very sad and really upset" over the way the club have distanced themselves from the situation.
Ronaldo is now thought to favour a sensational return to Manchester United and has even changed his Instagram profile picture, ditching an image of him in a Real shirt.
But Paris Saint-Germain are also in the hunt for the 32-year-old, who believes he can play at the top level until his is 40.
It is said his decision to quit the Bernabeu after eight years is irreversible.
There are also reports that he made his mind up TWO MONTHS ago.
But claim that Perez is determined to hold on to Ronaldo and that only a huge offer will make him change his mind.
says that a bid of around £175m could tempt Perez to do business, although Ronaldo's release clause sits at a monster 8bn euros (£874m).
Ex-Bernabeu chief Ramon Calderon admits Ron has United “in his heart”.
In an exclusive interview with SunSport, Calderon revealed: “I remember when I signed Cristiano, he phoned me and said everyone at Manchester United was really happy and kind to him.
“Sir Alex Ferguson was like a father and he loved the fans.
“The club has been very important in his career. Manchester United is a club he has in his heart.”
Ron and Fergie remain very close and embraced at last month’s Champions League final in Cardiff, after which Fergie presented his former star with the man-of-the-match award.

Calderon added: “I had the same situation with Manchester United when he decided to leave and I signed him.
“He says I want to leave and that’s it, as a president you can’t do anything other than let him go and get the best possible deal.”
United’s pursuit of striker Alvaro Morata, 24, who Real value at £90m, would also be thrown into the mix.
So you could conceivably have a mind-boggling deal of £200m plus De Gea for the pair.
Calderon said: “I’m sure Cristiano won’t leave Europe.
“I don’t think he would go and play in China or the Middle East. He’s very fit, in good shape and playing very well.
“Ronaldo would cost more than Paul Pogba because he is a better player. Anyone who wants him will be prepared to pay him a lot of money.”
