TOTTENHAM are preparing to sell defender Kevin Wimmer – but he will cost a staggering £20million.
Wimmer, 24, has made just 13 Premier League starts for Spurs after a £4.3m move from German side Cologne two years ago.
But incredibly, the club are now demanding over four times that amount for a player who Mauricio Pochettino is happy to leave.
Unsurprisingly, Spurs have yet to get a firm offer for the Austrian international who made just four League starts for Tottenham last season.
Yet Spurs chairman Daniel Levy still want to get rid of the player before they can strengthen in defence.
Along with Everton, Watford, West Ham, Southampton and Newcastle, Spurs were interested in Hull’s Harry Maguire but Leicester shelled out £17m – and offered a £20m five-year contract.
Reports also claim Tottenham are in the market for Lazio star Keita Balde Diao.
