FRANCE and England fans put football rivalry to one side to honour the victims of the Manchester and London terror attacks with a touching display inside the Stade de France tonight.
Players and supporters from both sides gave a rousing rendition of God Save The Queen after a moving minute's silence ahead of tonight's friendly between the two teams in Paris.
And the two teams walked out to the anthem Don't Look Back in Anger, played by a brass band and sung by thousands of fans.
The Oasis tune has became a symbol of defiance after a suicide bomber attacked the Manchester Arena last month.
The French Football Federation also decorated seats with a giant St George's Flag, while hoardings in front of the Three Lions supporters also reads: “United with the cities of Manchester and London.”
Britain was rocked when a homegrown ISIS suicide bomber murdered 22 people at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester last month.
There was a further attack in early June when Islamists mowed down people on London Bridge before stabbing others in Borough Market, leaving eight more innocents dead.
167 people were left injured across both incidents, and the French are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with their Channel cousins after also experiencing horrific terrorism in recent years.
A minute’s silence for the victims will be held before kick-off as both countries and sets of fans pay their respects, with England honouring their counterparts at Wembley after the 2015 Bataclan attack in Paris.
The Three Lions go into the match on the back of a 2-2 draw against Scotland in Saturday’s World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park.
Gareth Southgate has already confirmed that Tom Heaton and Jack Butland will deputise for Joe Hart, with the likes of Kieran Trippier and Ben Gibson in line to make their debuts.
