“It is they who need to convince me they can stay at Inter.

“If a player doesn’t share our enthusiasm, it is better he go somewhere he feels he can do his job better.”

United recently had a £35million bid for Perisic rejected.

While, Paris Saint-Germain are ready to offer cash plus Angel Di Maria for the former Borussia Dortmund man's signature.

Inter had hoped to lure one of Europe’s biggest names as manager, with Antonio Conte and Diego Simeone among their biggest desires.

However, failure to qualify for even the Europa League meant the ambitious Suning Group owners had to look elsewhere.

He led Roma their highest points total in Serie A history last season — but it was still only good enough for a second place finish.

The Italian won the Coppa Italia twice and one Italian Super Cup during his first spell with the Giallorossi.
