Manchester United to complete £35million swoop for Benfica defender Victor Lindelof on Wednesday on a five-year deal
Lindelof will jet in for checks after international duty with Sweden and become Jose Mourinho's first signing of summer

VICTOR LINDELOF has vowed to fight for his Manchester United team-mates and fans when the Sweden defender expects to complete a £35million move on Wednesday.
The Benfica star, 22, is on international duty on Tuesday when they travel to Scandinavian rivals Norway – and then is flying straight to Manchester to have his medical before wrapping up a five-year deal.
Lindelof told pals in Stockholm last night ahead of Sweden’s World Cup qualifier against France that he cannot wait to join “such a massive club” and vowed to “fight for his team and fans”.
A source told SunSport: “It’s a done deal. There are some very minor things to wrap up and of course the medical.
“He hasn’t wanted to allow the move to distract him from Sweden duty but he will be flying straight to Manchester after the game in Oslo on Tuesday and then undergoing his medical.”
Lindelof – who has won 12 caps for his country – came through the youth ranks at Swedish club IK Franke before moving to Vasteras and signing for Benfica in 2012.
Jose Mourinho’s United are also edging closer to completing the £60m transfer of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
SunSport understands that details on a four-year contract are being finalised to land the 24-year-old Spaniard.
United are desperate for a new striker after Zlatan Ibrahimovic was not retained on Friday's list put out by the club.

Morata has grown frustrated at Real having made only 14 starts in La Liga last season although he still scored 19 goals in all competitions.
AC Milan are also interested in Morata but it is understood he prefers the switch to the Premier League.
Morata had two spells at Real between a transfer to Juventus.
