Liverpool will find out next week if they face sanctions from the Premier League for allegedly tapping up Virgil van Dijk
The Southampton centre-back has been strongly linked with a move to the Reds, and the player himself is keen on linking up with Jurgen Klopp's side
LIVERPOOL will be made to wait until at least next week to find out whether they will face sanctions for allegedly tapping up Virgil van Dijk.
Southampton appealed to the Premier League to investigate in the potential deal, with the Reds issuing a public apology over their pursuit of the 25-year-old centre-back.
According to the Liverpool Echo, officials from the Premier League were expected to meet the clubs at a top-flight AGM meeting in Harrogate today.
Both clubs have been required to hand over information over the alleged illegal approach from Jurgen Klopp's side, but a full enquiry is not believed to be needed.
The Saints have reportedly upped their asking price to £75million for the former Celtic star, but they remain adamant they don't wish to sell their prized asset.
