FRANCESCO TOTTI could be about to do what no Roma fans thought he would - and play for another Italian team.
But he won't be coming up against the club he loves. The 40-year-old has been offered a trail with Serie B outfit Pescara.
Totti made an emotional final appearance for Roma in their 3-2 win against Genoa in their last game that guaranteed his side qualification for the Champions League Group stage.

But despite it being expected he could look to continue playing in the US or perhaps even China, Pescara, who were relegated from the Italian top flight this season, have thrown their hat into the ring.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio Due, their manager Zdenek Zemen said: "Totti still wants to play, and they want him over in the US.

"He shouldn't be going into any ambassadorial role just yet, he needs to play and I hope he can do so in a major team.
"I spoke with him last week and he still wants to play, but it all depends on the conditions.
"I believe he still wants a competitive challenge, and to that end I'm always happy to give him a trial."
Zeman managed Totti twice during spells with Roma, from 1997–1999 and from 2012–2013.
