Guardiola is ready to send youngster Angus Gunn on  loan to Norwich and is in the market for an experienced No 2 if a club comes in for Bravo.

Ederson’s arrival from Benfica has hammered home how  Guardiola got it wrong with his keepers in his first City season.

Bravo arrived from Barcelona for £15.4m to replace Joe Hart but was dropped from the starting line-up by January.

The veteran  insists he will compete for his place following Ederson’s arrival — but could be heading back to Spain if the right offer is made.
