HENRY ONYEKURU has confirmed Arsenal are in talks to sign him and has revealed he wants to emulate his idol Thierry Henry by becoming a Gunners star.
The 19-year-old has been a sensation this season in Belgium with KAS Eupen, where he finished as the league's joint top goalscorer after banging in 22 goals.
Last week it was reported that the North London club bid £6.8million for his services which has been agreed with the Nigerian's club.
Speaking after he made his first international appearance for the Super Eagles, he told the how the prospect of playing in the Premier League excites him.
He said: "Thierry Henry has always been my idol since I was a kid.
"I was watching him play, watching Arsenal and going to YouTube to watch most of his games.

"I remember saying if I had to move to the Premier League I want to be like Thierry Henry, so it's likely to come true and I'm looking towards it at the moment.
"It’s a good feeling for a club like Arsenal to make a bid for me, this is due to my hard work in training and games.
"I am waiting and working towards it and we'll see how it goes after the (Nigeria) qualifiers."
Everton, Southampton, West Brom and West Ham have all held interest in the forward who has chipped in with nine assists this campaign, but they look resigned to miss out to Arsene Wenger's side.
