Alves has made good on a promise he made to the Barcelona board before his departure to Juventus last summer.

When the left the Nou Camp for the Serie A side last summer, he made a vow to his former club’s board of directors, declaring: “You’re going to miss me.”

His role in Juventus' back-five has been integral to the team's success at both ends of the pitch.

Now he'll look to try and help the Italian giants to a famous treble - and stop Real from becoming the first team to win back-to-back Champions League title in the process.
