Arsenal to ship-out NINE first-team Stars this summer to cut costs with Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs facing axe
The Frenchman admitted he needed a summer clear-out and Wilshere is worried he may be sold
ARSENAL could flog NINE players after Arsene Wenger's new deal was confirmed - with Jack Wilshere fearing he could be one of them, according to reports.
Wilshere, 25, has had a largely disappointing loan spell at Bournemouth that saw his season end early after fracturing his fibula against Tottenham in April.
And even though there have been talks to extend Wilshere's contract at the Emirates, are reporting that the Gunners could cut their losses.
The England international will enter the final year of his deal next month and if no deal is reached then he could be sold.
But he might not be the only one being shown the door as Wenger admitted he may have to sell players to cut costs in his 33-man squad.

Wenger - who has penned a new two-year deal with Arsenal - said: “First of all, we have a very heavy squad at the moment so maybe we might lose some players.
“I believe that our squad is very strong and we will only look for top-class people who can strengthen our team now.
"We need the additions who will make a real difference.”
Carl Jenkinson, Wojciech Szczesny and Kieran Gibbs look likely to be sold.
The report also claims Lucas Pérez, David Ospina, Mathieu Debuchy, Yaya Sanogo and Francis Coquelin may also be shown the door.
Majority shareholder Stan Kroenke has backed Wenger for another two-years despite fan pressure to not renew his contract.
But if Kroenke fails to deliver for Wenger, second-highest shareholder Alisher Usmanov has said he is ready to step in.
Usmanov said: "What is of paramount importance is that he receives the full support of the board and majority shareholder."
