Michy Batshuayi open to leaving Chelsea for West Ham on loan next season
Belgian international has struggled for starts under Antonio Conte and is open to moving away for regular football
MICHY BATSHUAYI has confessed he could head out of Chelsea on loan - and West Ham are keen to land the star.
The striker has struggled to force his way into Antonio Conte's team after joining the club in a £33million deal from Marseille last summer.
And the Belgian international admits he would consider joining another club for a certain period to try and gain more experience.
Batshuayi told Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad: "Honestly, I'm not trying to think too much [about my future].
"It will be up to the board and the coach to decide. I'm the player, I go where Chelsea send me."
West Ham are interested in bringing him to the London Stadium on a short-term deal after he scored four goals in his last three games of the season.
The Hammers have struggled in attack this season with injuries to the likes of Andy Carroll and boss Slaven Bilic is eager to strengthen.
But Batshuayi has been given a vote of confidence by Blues team-mate Diego Costa.
The Spanish international has backed the youngster to go far at Stamford Bridge and even take over as the main striker if he leaves the club.
Costa said: "He is a big player and has an impressive future for himself. The past matches have proven that he has quality and scoring ability.
"He is a boy who will take great steps. Hopefully he will continue to grow - he has all the qualities to stay here.
"Batshuayi may stay because he's young and I could be leaving."
