Sevilla line up £17.5million move for Arsenal striker Lucas Perez as they look to bring him back to La Liga
The 28-year-old has struggled for game time at the Emirates this season and could be set for a switch back to Spain in the summer
SEVILLA have joined Deportivo La Coruna in the race to sign Arsenal's wantaway striker Lucas Perez.
The 28-year-old has struggled in his debut season in North London where he has had to settle for just a mere two starts in the Premier League.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Jorge Sampaoli is eyeing up a £17.5million move to bring Perez back to La Liga after he joined from Deportivo last summer for a similar fee.
He has scored in all four competitions for Arsene Wenger's men this campaign, including a hat-trick away to Basel in the Champions League.
Perez was an unused substitute against Chelsea in the 2-1 FA Cup final triumph on Saturday, ensuring he capped the season off with a winners medal.
He has fell down the pecking order at the Emirates and has often been left out of matchday squads as Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud have all been preferred instead.

The forward has only featured 21 times in all competitions this campaign, much to the annoyance of Gunners fans who have been impressed with his performances.
Still, he has managed to register an impressive seven goals and seven assists, but with game time not guaranteed for next season, Perez is looking for an instant return to La Liga.
A move back to former side Deportivo is believed to be his preference, with his agent revealing they have first priority if Arsenal plan on selling their striker.
Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle recently said: "Lucas is also thinking and dreaming of Deportivo because he is a heart-felt guy, always."
