Arsenal won the FA Cup thanks to Aaron Ramsey's late winner against Chelsea on Saturday
THE precision finish of Aaron Ramsey’s header was a fitting winner for a fantastic FA Cup final.
Here, for every Arsenal fan to savour, we show the 79th-minute goal in glorious super slo-motion.
The header has been awarded Gillette’s Precision Play of the final and was enough to seal Arsenal’s record 13th FA Cup win.
Substitute Olivier Giroud clipped a neat cross in from the touchline, but it was Welshman Ramsey who deserves all the plaudits.
His perceptive run from from midfield left him with yards of space to connect with the cross from 7.98 yards to put it beyond the flailing Thibaut Courtois.
It sparked celebrations from the Arsenal fans, who had seen 10-man Chelsea equalise just moments before through Diego Costa.
It is the latest in a long list of goals that have made this a very special year for the FA Cup.
Special goals from the likes of Sergio Aguero, N’Golo Kante, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Nemanja Matic have all picked up the Precision Play award throughout the tournament.
It is the second time Ramsey has scored a winner for Arsenal in an FA Cup final having done so in extra-time against Hull in 2014.
After Saturday’s match he said: "I can't describe this. It's been an up and down season. We've finished with the FA Cup so it has to be successful.
"I've got the winner again. I love this competition. The boys deserve this. I'm happy for the manager. To get another FA Cup - delighted."
