PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG showed incredible confidence to bring home Borussia Dortmund’s first major trophy in nearly three years.

BVB has been losing finalists in the DFB-Pokal, but held on this time to net the first trophy of the Thomas Tuchel era.

Dembele beat his marker with a great touch, before rifling past the goalkeeper from close range to score the 250th goal of Tuchel’s tenure.

Frankfurt started to come back into the game and took advantage of a good spell of possession to level when Rebic shot past Roman Burki.

The goal knocked Dortmund back and they lost their foothold in the contest.

They were creating chances, but it seemed like a goal would not be forthcoming.

However, Frankfurt stopper Hradecky presented them with that opportunity when he brought down Christian Pulisic.

And Aubameyang made no mistake to make it 40 goals for the season in brilliant fashion.
