MARCO SILVA could end his managerial spell in England after holding talks with Porto over the vacant role on Tuesday.
The in-demand Hull boss looks braced to leave the Tigers following their relegation to the Championship.
Silva, who has been linked with the vacant Watford and Southampton role, jetted off to Portugal on Tuesday as he plots his next move according to Portuguese journalist Goncalo Lopes.
The 39-year-old, who was born in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon, is effectively a free agent after a clause in his Hull contract was activated following relegation.
But Silva will still hold talks with Hull's owners on Wednesday in a meeting that will discuss his future.
The ex-Olympiacos man almost pulled off mission impossible to keep Hull in the Premier League but they were pipped by Paul Clement's Swansea towards the tail end of the season.
