Alexis Sanchez prefers move to Manchester City but Arsenal star’s agent is pushing for Bayern Munich switch, according to reports in Chile
Gunners forward looks braced to leave Emirates after his side fail to secure Champions League football
ALEXIS SANCHEZ is eyeing a move to Manchester City this summer but his agent is trying to encourage the Chilean to join Bayern Munich.
The Arsenal ace looks braced to leave the Emirates after the Gunners missed out on Champions League football for the first time in 21 years.
Sanchez has been the stand-out player in Arsenal's disappointing campaign with 24 league goals but has no plans to extend his current contract which expires in the summer of 2018.
And according to reports in Chile, the 28-year-old is plotting an exit from the club with two serious offers on the table.
Bayern and Man City have both launched bids for Sanchez and it appears the Premier League side are favourites to land his signature.
Reported by Chilean journalist Maks Cardenas, Sanchez would rather play his football at the Etihad but the Gunners are reluctant in selling to a Premier League rival.
Instead they would rather he joined German giants Bayern Munich - a move backed by the player's agent for financial reasons.
But Sanchez is concerned that the Bundesliga lacks a competitive edge with the Bavaria side winning the last five league titles.
