Manchester City to fund Alexis Sanchez swoop by selling Kelechi Iheanacho as Pep Guardiola plans big-money raid on Arsenal
Young striker has struggled for first-team opportunities this season and will be cut loose with Everton and West Ham keen
MANCHESTER CITY are reportedly ready to flog Kelechi Iheanacho in order to fund a move for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.
The Etihad youngster has made just five Premier League starts this season and has seen his chances further restricted by the January arrival of Gabriel Jesus.
Iheanacho is believed to be a transfer target for both Everton and West Ham.
And the claims City will cash in for around £20million as they look to land Arsenal ace Sanchez.
The Chilean looks set to leave the Emirates if his team fail to qualify for the Champions League.
And City are confident they can beat Chelsea to Sanchez’s signature with a quick-fire £50m bid.
Selling Iheanacho will provide a timely cash boost and also free up a space in Pep Guardiola’s squad.
