Laurent Koscielny is desperate for Alexis Sanchez to stay at Arsenal as doubt surrounds Chilean future
Defender urges the forward to stay at the Emirates as he highlights the forward's strengths
ARSENAL defender Laurent Koscielny has called for Alexis Sanchez to stay at the Emirates this summer.
The Chilean has recently been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain but his team-mates are desperate for him to stay.
Sanchez has bagged 28 goals in 49 appearances and has also provided 13 assists for Arsenal in all competitions.
The 28-year-old scored twice in Arsenal's 2-0 win over Sunderland - meaning the forward has been involved in more goals than anyone else in the Premier League.
And Koscielny understands a player of his calibre is indispensable and is hoping his team-mate stays on over the summer.
Koscielny told Sky Sports: "Firstly, he scored a lot of goals for us but his first job is not to be a striker, it is more midfield but he is an unbelievable player.
"He just wants to fight and have the best result for the club.
