ARSENAL are not interested in a signing Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford this summer, says Arsene Wenger.
The highly-rated shotstopper was in inspirational form once again on Tuesday as he produced 11 saves against the Gunners.
Despite his efforts he was eventually beaten as the Black Cats were defeated 2-0.
However, the 23-year-old’s reputation was only strengthened at the Emirates.

But although Wenger admitted he was impressed by the England Under-21 international, he ruled out the possibility of making a move for the star.

The Frenchman said: “He had an exceptional night.
“I think we had 36 shots on goal, which is the highest ever in the Premier League.
“The keeper saved 11 of them so he did extremely well.”
He added: “We have plenty of goalkeepers.
“We have Petr Cech, we have (David) Ospina, we have Wojciech (Szczesny), who is on loan at Roma and has had an exceptional season.
“We also have Emi Martinez. If there is one thing we don’t have to buy it’s a goalkeeper.”
