Francesco Totti and Mario Balotelli shock Antalyaspor transfer targets as Turks look to create attack with Samuel Eto’o
Roma veteran and controversial Nice forward are both wanted men this summer after enjoying great seasons
AMBITIOUS Turkish minnows Antalyaspor are reportedly looking to sign Francesco Totti AND Mario Balotelli this summer.
They already boast Barcelona legend and ex-Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o amongst their ranks.
And claims Antalyaspor chiefs want Totti and Balotelli to link up with the Cameroonian in a formidable front three after making an audacious approach for ex-Leicester boss and Premier League winner Claudio Ranieri in March.
Roma icon Totti, 40, is out of contract this summer and could finally be set to leave after joining his local side as a 13-year-old in 1989.
However, former AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta wants his ex-Italy teammate for a reunion at newly-formed MLS side Miami FC.
It’s believed Totti favours the latter, but that won’t halt an approach from Antalyaspor – who also employ former Tottenham anchorman Sandro and ex-Aston Villa midfielder Jean Makoun.
They are allegedly prepared to offer Totti a whopping £1.7million for a single year of football, although there’ll be an option to extend for a further year.
