NEWCASTLE could be offered the chance to sign Southampton forward Jay Rodriguez this summer, according to reports.
Saints are ready to offload the striker - who scored in Saturday's 2-1 win at Middlesbrough - with two years remaining on his St Mary's deal.

Rodriguez, 27, who signed for Southampton from Burnley in 2012 for about £7million, earned an England call-up in 2013 after an impressive start to life on the south coast.
