Bayern Munich star Rafinha claims he’s received numerous offers to play in the Premier League next season
Veteran Brazilian right-back refuses to identify interested clubs but seems keen to stay put with German giants
BAYERN MUNICH star Rafinha claims he has offers to play in the Premier League next season.
The veteran right-back has spent the last six years in Bavaria but he’s unsure if it’s the right time to consider a change of scenery.
Despite playing second fiddle to captain Philipp Lahm, Rafinha has still mustered 200 appearances for Bayern following a move from Genoa in 2011.
The 31-year-old was well known to Bayern chiefs after spending five seasons at rivals Schalke.
However, there is still no guarantee of regular football at the Allianz Arena despite Lahm’s impending retirement, with youngster Joshua Kimmich seen as the solution by Carlo Ancelotti.
But Rafinha does not want to be forced to take up one of the offers from England just yet, telling : “I don’t like to talk about offers – I have managers for that.
“But it’s true, those offers are real. I have a few offers from Premier League clubs. I’d rather not say [which clubs] because it’s confidential.
