LUKE SHAW will miss the rest of Manchester United's season after hobbling out of their 1-1 draw with Swansea, Jose Mourinho has confirmed.
The left-back limped out of the game on Sunday, as Eric Bailly also went down after making a challenge.
Mourinho confirmed his medical staff are getting Shaw, 21, to see a specialist.
According to the Press Association, Shaw has damaged ligaments in his left foot.
The United boss and the England international have not seen eye-to-eye this term and the Portuguese has publicly criticised his focus.
Mourinho said: "Bailly is ready to play, he's the kind of personality that fights against every problem unless it's impossible.
"He's ready to play.
"Luke Shaw is injured and it is an important injury, obviously, but we are still waiting for one more medical opinion from the medical department to decide what to do but it doesn't matter what, he's out for the season. That's confirmed."
There was more joy for United on the defensive front through, as well as Bailly, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling have been declared fit for the trip to Vigo.

United's opponents are 11th in La Liga and Mourinho has stressed that their opponents have nothing to play for, while the Red Devils are still scrapping for a top-four finish with Arsenal away on the weekend.
Sir Alex Ferguson made an almost identical argument a decade ago when the club faced AC Milan in a Champions League semi-final, with United leading 3-2 going into the second leg, before losing 3-0 in a San Siro mauling.
Mourinho added: "Because of their situation in La Liga, a comfortable situation, they manage also to think about the Europa League, to rest players, to be in the maximum of their condition, so a difficult match for us."
