‘Manchester United’s £72million Kylian Mbappe bid rejected’ — while Jose Mourinho also wants either Fabinho or Toni Kroos
- Unnamed club makes £93m offer
- Ligue 1 leaders would accept £110m
- Red Devils also want top midfielder
MANCHESTER UNITED have had a £72million bid rejected for Kylian Mbappe, according to reports in Italy.
The 18-year-old Monaco striker is currently the hottest prospect in world football following his prolific form in 2017.
And report that Jose Mourinho has tried to steal a march on his rivals with an offer that would make Mbappe easily the most expensive teenager in history.
But the bid has been knocked back by the Ligue 1 leaders.
The report also claims United want either Toni Kroos or Fabinho to bolster their midfield in the summer.

Meanwhile, the agent of fellow French teenage sensation, Ousmane Dembele, believes Monaco would accept around £110m for the starlet.
And he claims an unnamed club has made a world-record offer of around £93m, which has also been turned down.
Oscar Damiani Jr told Sky Sport Italia: “Monaco want £110m.
“But they would prefer to keep him for another season and then maybe sell him on.
“I know there is a team which has already offered £93m for him.”
Mbappe made his debut for Monaco last season, but has really come to the fore in the second half of this season.
He scored on his first Champions League start — against Manchester City — and has netted in every match in the competition since.
Real Madrid are among Europe’s elite sides who are interested in his signature.
Mbappe was part of France’s Uefa European Under-19 Championship-winning side in 2016, but could add a league title and even a Champions League medal this season.
