Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce eyes permanent deal for Mamadou Sakho after impressing on loan from Liverpool
Big Sam is lining up a move for Sakho after an loan spell at the London club
SAM ALLARDYCE is confident that Crystal Palace only need one win to secure their Premier League status.
And the ex-England manager plans to open talks with the Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho as soon as top flight football is confirmed.
Palace play Liverpool on Sunday but will be without Sakho due a clause in his loan.
Allardyce knows this comes as a blow to the club as the 27-year-old has been key to their fight for survival.

Discussing Sakho, Big Sam outlined how important the defender has become to the club and whether or not he will stay in London come the end of the season.
He said "Does Mama want to stay? 'It is a big decision he has to make. If we stay in the Premier League, we will try our best to sign him."
He continued "We will see how we go without him on Sunday.
"We have managed without Scott Dann and James Tomkins, with Martin Kelly stepping in, and let's see how well they can do without him.
"I will tell you what might be and what might not be when we get safe."
Currently sitting on 35 points Allardyce believes that the club only need three more points to avoid the drop.
Palace have Liverpool, Tottenham and Burnley as their next three fixtures, two of which are at home.
Speaking on Relegation the Palace boss said 'Thirty-eight points has been enough for 10 years or more and we have got an opportunity to get there and get beyond it"
Allardyce added. "It is a big week for us. We want to take pressure off ourselves and get as many points as we can this week."
Continuing "I hope the players believe, as I believe, that they are capable of getting points out of them."
