JEFF STELLING has resigned as Hartlepool United president after they lost 2-0 to Barnet.
The legendary Sky Sports presenter delivered a scathing rant live on air calling for manager Dave Jones to go.
After Saturday's defeat, the Pools have slipped into the drop zone of the League Two and are in real danger of being relegated to the National League with just two games to turn their season around.

Stelling said: "We have lost at home, we're in the relegation places, and it’s not personal Dave, but for God’s sake for the good of the club walk now.
"Go now. You've got 13 points from 51, this is not your level of football.
"(Finance director) Pam Duxbury, the chairman Gary Coxall, if he won’t walk, then sack him.
"If it means me resigning as president then I do so happily – do it now, do it today."

He stayed true to his word and has left his post after succeeding Lord Mandelson due to his involvement in the House of Lords.
Stelling - who has entertained fans for years with his involvement in Gilette Soccer Saturday, regularly shows his emotion for his side live on TV, but he was left livid after losing to the Bees.
Goals from John Akinde and Simeon Akinola clinched the three points for the away side, while Newport County beat Accrington Stanley to move out the bottom two.
Disgruntled fans let their feelings be known as they chanted in their numbers "Dave Jones, get out of our club."
And the club today announced that Stelling had got his wish as former Cardiff and Wolves boss Jones was given the boot.
