BRITT ASSOMBALONGA scored twice as Nottingham Forest took a big step to survival with a win over Reading.

The striker scored one in each half to move Forest three points clear of the relegation zone.

After Assombalonga's two goals Mustapha Carayol put Mark Warburton's side three up - but Forest had to hand on for the last 15 minutes after Yann Kermogant scored twice.
