Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin channels his inner-David Beckham with bizarre new cornrows haircut after getting the chop
Spanish full-back yesterday posted an image of himself at the barbers, but was seen at training with the shock style
ARSENAL defender Hector Bellerin has channelled his inner-David Beckham with his new hairstyle... cornrows.
The Spanish full-back, 22, posted a snap on Friday of himself at the barbers, but didn't let on to what he had done.
But Bellerin brashly showed off the shock new style in Arsenal training as the side prepare to take on Manchester City in the FA Cup on Sunday.
The look was not too dissimilar to that sported by Beckham in 2003 - when he famously broke his arm in a friendly for England against South Africa.
However, Bellerin went a step further, adding an intricately braided top-middle section to the do.
Andy Carroll also sported the braided top look last season for West Ham, while Nottingham Forest's Henri Lansbury attempted to pull off something similar earlier this year.
Perhaps Bellerin thought a new hairdo might spark a change in form for himself and Arsenal.
After all, through 33 appearances in all competitions so far this season, the Barcelona target has failed to reach his top form.
The Spaniard arguably enjoyed his best season at the Emirates in the 2014-15 season, but has been on a steady decline since.
One theory put forward is that Bellerin is struggling to cope with his duties in attack and defence with the midfield less stringent then in previous years.
