Gabriel Jesus to travel with Manchester City squad for FA Cup semi-final tie with Arsenal and could make shock return
GABRIEL JESUS is eyeing a surprise return for Manchester City in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final with Arsenal.
The Brazil striker, 20, is in Pep Guardiola's squad and will travel to Wembley - just two months after suffering a broken metatarsal.
Guardiola said of his £27million January buy: "He's really, really much, much better.
"Today he will take part in training, he's coming back with his happiness. We are so happy."
Former Palmeiras star Jesus has been in full training this week.
And Guardiola added: "All the squad are travelling down tomorrow and we will watch the match between Tottenham and Chelsea.
"He will be part of that and after that, we will see."
Jesus bagged four goals and made three starts after an history debut in a 4-0 win over West Ham on February 1
He became the first City player to net and set up a goal in their first Premier League game.
But he suffered injury just when his impact was posing big questions over the future of Etihad frontman Sergio Aguero.
