Manchester United set to move for £40million-rated Eric Dier as Tottenham prepare £30million bid for Michael Keane
Spurs ready to sign Burnley's England international in move which could open door for Dier to make Old Trafford switch
TOTTENHAM are reportedly set to move for Burnley star Michael Keane – paving the way for Eric Dier to join Manchester United.
New England international Keane is one of this summer’s most sought-after players, with Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Everton all believed to be interested.
However, Keane’s arrival could see Dier leave White Hart Lane as Man United boss Jose Mourinho hunts for reinforcements.
The Special One is also interested in bringing Keane back to Old Trafford, but £40m-rated Dier is his top choice.
The former Sporting Lisbon youngster wants more opportunities in midfield after seeing Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele become Pochettino’s preferred pairing.
And Mourinho will promise to play Dier alongside world-record signing Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera in a formidable triumvirate should he move to the Theatre of Dreams.
Additional reports claim United are closing in on a deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier.
The Ivorian has been offered a new contract but appears to have his sights set on moving to England for £16m.
