West Brom set to launch summer raid for Watford skipper Troy Deeney
Hornets striker snubbed Premier League champions Leicester City to sign new long-term deal at Vicarage Road last summer but Baggies will push for Deeney to help solve goal scoring crisis
WEST BROM are set to launch a summer bid for Watford skipper Troy Deeney.
SunSports understands Baggies boss Tony Pulis is keen to add more guile to his strike force next season, and has identified the Hornets striker as his main target.
The loss of Saido Berahino to Stoke in January, left West Brom short of attacking options for the second half of the season.
Birmingham-born Deeney signed a new contract last summer at Vicarage Road, amid strong interest from Leicester City.
West Brom could seriously test Watford's resolve with a bid in excess of £20million for Deeney, who has hit 10 Premier League goals this term.
